Why blog?

I started this secret blog January 7th, 2013 – just a few days after finding out we were pregnant. I asked that anyone who read it keep our secret until it was finally safe to announce the big news.

Our baby will be half-Venezuelan and half-Korean: a little ninja!

H U R R A Y ! The world is now very aware of my growing belly and our ever-growing joy. The following NO LONGER APPLIES:

Shhh don’t tell anyone…

It’s too early still (barely past two weeks) to share the BFP — Big Fat Positive — with our closest friends, and family members, but to keep this miracle a top-tier secret is like asking my husband to spend a day with Kobe Bryant and not post it on FB (note I’ve chosen Purple and Gold as my theme colors for this blog)…yeah, it’s pretty impossible. So, to get the necessity to Yelp this from the top my lungs OUT of my system until we’re on the clear, I’ve decided to start a blog.

You all are my confidants, and thus I entrust you to keep my BFS — Big Fat Secret — until the moment of reveal in about 8 weeks, at which time my identity will also become public as I will not have to hide behind the screen name: BabyKimsMommy.
