Once I’m feeling stronger I’ll start doing Yoga again. I was told by a friend you have to wait at least 15-weeks after conception to restart.

Reduce the Risk of Preeclampsia

Preeclampsia is a condition in pregnancy characterized by abrupt hypertension (a sharp rise in blood pressure), albuminuria (leakage of large amounts of the protein albumin into the urine) and edema (swelling) of the hands, feet, and face.  It is the most common complication of pregnancies and affects about 5% of them.  This condition occurs in the third trimester of pregnancy, and occurs most frequently in first pregnancies.  In some cases, it can be a sign of a more serious problem.  This condition will resolve itself shortly after the baby is born, but during pregnancy, can be dangerous for you and your baby in certain instances.
